NJADAPT

NJADAPT  is a web-based platform that provides the public and diverse practitioners with access to scientific information about climate impacts in New Jersey. The Alliance has supported work to build public access to online tools, such as NJADAPT and NJ FloodMapper, that can help the general public, government officials, businesses, and non-governmental professional visualize and understand how they will be impacted by a changing climate.  Efforts are underway to build NJADAPT into New Jersey's all-climate hazards data visualization and mapping tool so that it can support planning and decision-making at the state and local levels in the public and private sectors.

New Jersey Climate Adaptation Directory

The New Jersey Climate Adaptation Directory was originally conceived as a NJ-based repository of geographic data, tools, reports, model policies and ordinances, case studies, and current projects focused on evaluating vulnerabilities and developing and implementing climate change adaptation plans and strategies.  It was made possible with support from the New Jersey Climate Change Alliance, Regional Plan Association, the Clean Air-Cool Planet Fellowship Program; Rutgers Climate Institute; the New Jersey Environmental Digital Library and Gallagher Family Legacy Fund.

In an effort to streamline data and cataloguing of this information, as of 2022, the Directory will cease to exist as the original resources included in the Directory have been migrated over to the New Jersey Environmental Digital Library which is a searchable digital repository of environmental information for  New Jersey.  In addition to the Environmental Digital Library, viewers may find additional resources related to climate change and New Jersey within this NJ Climate Change Alliance website, as well as the New Jersey Climate Change Resource Center website.
