New Jersey Climate Change Alliance adopts new organizational and working model

In 2020, the New Jersey Climate Change Alliance adopted a new organizational and working model. Now the Alliance is operating through a set of topic workgroups that include Alliance participating organizations as well as individuals from organizations that are not Alliance participants. A Steering Committee is responsible for overall governance of the Alliance and the full Alliance meets on a biennial basis. Additionally, the new Alliance model includes hosting an annual statewide conference with the first annual conference scheduled for September 15, 2020.

As part of adoption of its new organizational model, the Alliance welcomes new participants. Organizations that would like to be considered for participation in the Alliance are encouraged to review the Alliance’s underlying principles and organizational communications practices noted in the “Overview of Alliance Operations” (which can be found here) and to reach out to the Alliance facilitators for more information at This email address is being protected from spambots.
