On February 4, 2021, the New Jersey Climate Change Alliance continued with its virtual series in lieu of an in person conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event, “Advancing Health Equity in the Era of the Climate Crisis” was the fifth in this series, featuring Surili Patel, Director, Center for Climate And Health Equity at the American Public Health Association. Ms. Patel was joined by Dr. Marjorie Kaplan and Jeanne Herb of Rutgers University; Don Weinbaum and Kevin McNally of the NJ Public Health Association; and Dr. George DiFerdinando and David Henry the co-chairs of the NJ Cliamte Change Alliance Public Health Working Group.
